CTICases is a free educational reference that makes it easy to find and revisit cardiothoracic imaging cases discussed in publicly available teaching webinars. Search by diagnosis, browse by category or date, and jump straight to the exact moment in the source video where each case is presented.
Overview
Each case links to a specific timestamp in a publicly available webinar recording on YouTube. The short imaging findings and key takeaways shown for each case are generated with AI to make the library searchable — they are brief study aids, not a substitute for watching the case.
AI-generated summaries may contain errors. Always verify against the source video, and use the flag button on any case to report a problem.
Sources
The cases are drawn from publicly available cardiothoracic imaging webinar recordings posted by Dr. Jeffrey Kanne on YouTube, used with his kind permission. The webinars feature presenters from a range of institutions; CTICases is an independent index and study tool that links back to the original videos rather than re-hosting them.

I'm Ankush, a cardiothoracic imaging fellow at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I first became interested in Cardiothoracic Imaging while watching the STR Cardiothoracic Webinars on YouTube during the COVID-19 pandemic. They gave me a real appreciation for the depth of the discussions that used to happen between remarkable senior cardiothoracic radiologists like Jeffrey Kanne, Travis Henry, J.D. Godwin, Howard Mann, and others — and that's what drew me into cardiothoracic imaging.
I hope that collating more than a decade of these video archives into a freely searchable, reusable micro-learning platform will be of real use to radiologists and fellows alike — and that it helps spark more residents' interest in taking up cardiothoracic imaging.
