A free, searchable archive of cardiothoracic imaging cases.
CTICases is a free educational reference that makes it easy to find and revisit cardiothoracic imaging cases discussed in publicly available teaching webinars. Search by diagnosis, browse by category or date, and jump straight to the exact moment in the source video where each case is presented.
Each case links to a specific timestamp in a publicly available webinar recording on YouTube. The short imaging findings and key takeaways shown for each case are generated with AI from the video's captions to make the library searchable — they are brief study aids, not a transcript or a substitute for watching the case.
AI-generated summaries can be wrong. Because the summaries are produced automatically, they may contain errors, omissions, or mis-attributed details. Always verify against the source video, and use the flag button on any case to report a problem — that's how the archive stays accurate.
The cases are drawn from publicly available webinar recordings posted by Dr. Jeffrey Kanne on YouTube. CTICases is an independent index and study tool; it is not affiliated with, produced by, or endorsed by Dr. Kanne or any presenter, institution, or society. All rights in the original recordings remain with their respective owners, and links point back to the original videos rather than re-hosting them.
Access is completely free. A quick sign-in is required only to keep automated bots and scrapers from overwhelming the archive — no paywall, just a bot-wall. Sign-in is currently limited to academic and select healthcare email domains; if your institution isn't recognised, use the contact form to request it.
Rights holders who would like a case, summary, or link removed — or presenters who would prefer not to be indexed — can use the contact form, and it will be actioned promptly.
Questions, corrections, or ideas are welcome via the contact form.
