Imaging findings
Echocardiography and 4D flow MRI demonstrate a crisscross heart with L-transposition of the great arteries, pulmonary atresia, and a large ventricular septal defect (VSD). The left atrium drains into the right ventricle which gives rise to the aorta, while the right atrium drains into the left ventricle. The pulmonary circulation is supplied by a lateral tunnel Fontan pathway.
