Axial and sagittal CT images demonstrate a massive pseudoaneurysm of the descending thoracic aorta with a large mediastinal hematoma, arising from a disrupted atherosclerotic plaque (penetrating atherosclerotic ulcer). The lesion was successfully treated with an endovascular stent graft.
