Imaging findings
A CT scan revealed only a left pulmonary artery, with proximal interruption or congenital absence of the right pulmonary artery. There was hypertrophy of some bronchial arteries and the right internal mammary artery, with numerous transplural collaterals feeding the right lung, which was a decent size for an absent pulmonary artery. The left lung appeared completely normal. However, the right lung showed diffuse emphysema, with numerous semi-solid and ground glass nodules, some speculated and ugly-looking.
