Frontal chest radiograph shows a sharp-rimmed mass along the left superior mediastinal border that remains well-defined above the clavicle (the non-cervicothoracic sign). On the lateral view, the mass is located post-tracheally in Raeder's triangle. Chest CT reveals a highly dilated, aneurysmal aberrant right subclavian artery (arteria lusoria) with extensive atheromatous calcification and eccentric mural thrombus.
