Imaging findings
CT demonstrates a large, expanding soft tissue mass filling the main pulmonary artery and extending across the midline into both the right and left lobar and segmental pulmonary arteries, with vessels coursing through the mass. It does not look like chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) due to the expanding soft tissue component extending to the pulmonic valve.
