CT chest shows an ulcerated, saccular aneurysm of the descending thoracic aorta with surrounding low attenuation and inflammatory stranding. Serial CTs post-stent placement show progressive enlargement of the aneurysm. Blood cultures grew Salmonella enteritidis.
