Imaging findings
Chest X-ray showed vague reticular nodular patterns and nodules scattered throughout both lungs. CT scans revealed numerous tiny, diffuse "miliary-type" nodules scattered throughout both lungs, some slightly larger ground-glass nodules, areas of ground-glass consolidation, and subpleural consolidation. Airways were not thick-walled. A similar case presented with centrilobular nodules, described as small pellets of organizing pneumonia in the small bronchioles.
