Serial chest radiographs in a patient post-myocardial infarction with a ventricular septal defect (VSD) show placement of an Amplatzer occluder device. A subsequent radiograph demonstrates the device has embolized to the right main pulmonary artery. Following snare removal, a larger Amplatzer device is successfully deployed across the VSD, positioned in the ventricular septum.
