A lady with a history of Sjögren syndrome presented with pulmonary amyloidosis. Initial CT (2009) showed numerous pulmonary cysts, some with vessels running through them, and partially calcified nodules. Five years later (2014), she presented with hemoptysis, and one of the right middle lobe cysts was filled with intermediate attenuation fluid, consistent with blood. A follow-up study showed resolution of the blood and shrinkage of the cyst into a smaller nodule. Tracheal amyloid deposition was also noted.
