Mediastinal Cavernous Hemangioma
Imaging findings
Chest radiograph demonstrates an abnormal mediastinal contour. CT shows a large anterior mediastinal soft tissue mass displacing the aorta and great vessels with multiple internal areas of heterogeneous blushing enhancement. MRI demonstrates a markedly T2-hyperintense mass with slow-flow vascular enhancement pattern. PET shows minimal FDG avidity.
