Imaging findings
Late gadolinium enhancement inversion recovery MRI series demonstrates high signal attenuation in the myocardium, specifically sub-epicardial to mid-wall enhancement in the septum. This enhancement pattern is patchy, globular, and linear, and importantly, does not follow a vascular territory. There is also a suggestion of pericardial enhancement.
