Imaging findings
Chest radiograph reveals a large, lobulated, densely calcified soft tissue mass near the inferior portion of the left scapula, which does not appear to arise from or involve the underlying bone. On chest CT, the mass is confirmed to reside within the muscles surrounding the inferior scapula. Additional findings include a calcified, porcelain-like left atrium and generalized osteopenia.
