Effusive-constrictive pericarditis secondary to leukemia

Cardiac MRI shows a complex septated fluid collection in the pericardial space with thickened, delayed-enhancing pericardial layers, ventricular tubular remodeling, and diastolic septal bounce (ventricular interdependence) that is more pronounced during inspiration. This presentation was secondary to acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).
