Imaging findings
Chest radiograph shows extensive opacity in the basal right hemithorax. CT reveals a large, heterogeneous, very vascular lesion displacing lung, in contact with the hemidiaphragm. Multiple other concerning lesions are seen in the left lower lung lobe and near the major fissure, suggesting metastasis. Pathology confirmed a malignant fibrous tumor with features consistent with a malignant solitary fibrous tumor.
