Serial radiographs and CTs show multiple lung nodules from metastatic tall-cell papillary thyroid cancer. Following I-131 therapy, the nodules shrink and scar, causing progressive central retraction of the lung tissue, decreased AP chest diameter, and severe peripheral compensatory emphysema.
